Coding BootCamps

Digital Skills for Today has partnered with ReBootKamp (RBK) and Re:Coded to turn literacy into expertise, and expertise into employment for young refugees across the region.

“It was the greatest experience I ever had. I was sitting at home doing nothing when I read about Digital Skills for Today & RBK on Facebook. I instantly applied.”

Fatima was one year away from graduating in computer engineering when she fled with her family to Amman. After graduating from the 1st RBK BootKamp in 2016, she secured a job as a Curriculum Facilitator at RBK. Fatima now also teaches refugees how to build apps that change the world, like the one she developed to help families within refugee camps.

RBK’s first 16-week bootcamps enabled 50 young nationals and refugees to graduate with a competitive edge resulting in near 100% job placement. RBK has 3 campuses: Amman & Mafraq (Jordan) and Istanbul (Turkey).
