Digital Skills for Today is partnering with ReBootKamp (RBK) and Re:Coded to turn literacy into expertise, and expertise into employment for young refugees across the region.
As part of the DST initiative, RBK produced 67, market-ready, full-stack software engineers in 2018 for a combined lifetime GDP contribution of $268 million USD. RBK also produced 27 blockchain specialists from a 2 week mini immersive bootcamp.
The average starting salary for an RBK graduate rose to $1,130 per month (World Bank verified): this is twice the starting salary of a 4 year university graduate with an ICT degree. RBK placement rates are 98% within 6 months of graduation.
